How can I order a print ?
To order a print, simply contact me via email or instagram, facebook or WhatsApp with either a screenshot of the photo or the description, or even tell me what you’re looking for if it’s for a gift - I have a little quizz to help you decide ! I know it’s perhaps not super ideal, but see below! I am in the process of numbering each photo to make it easier for you though :)
Why do you not have a print shop with a cart and everything ?
It’s a tough one - I’m stil considering it. It’s just that because I hand-sign everything, and check the print before sending it off, I can’t do that in the field, and makes managing a cart pretty complicated. I also love the idea of creating a print with you guys, to make something that is low volume and to be able to properly communicate the story of each print and take the time to deliver a very personalised experience. It’s not about selling, selling and selling - it’s about story-telling, awareness and art. I’m not a huge fan of the ‘industrial’ type print, and really want to make sure I can convey how over-excited I get for each order. So bear with me here! It may change, but right now I’m quite happy with how it’s working out.
What can I expect with my print ?
I hand sign every single one of my prints in a way that is unique to myself. If it is a limited edition, it will also be numbered. I love telling the story of each print as well as its link to conservation, and do this in a very personalised way (usually, handwritten with the print, and an email for the longer stuff). With Brexit. All my photos are for sale though I will advise on what I’d recommend for size, paper, etc - I love creating with the client, to make something unique every time. 50% of proceeds after handling and printing will support conservation projects - Virunga National Park, Chengeta Wildlife, Conservation South Luangwa, African Parks.
What’s the difference between ‘limited-edition’ and ‘classic-edition’?
Limited-edition prints are only available in small limited numbers that go down as the size goes up. They are each hand-numbered and signed, usually at the back of the print, or underneath if there’s a white border and client is happy for a visual signature. The numbered edition is inclusive of the artist’s copy, and the editions are spread over 3, 4 or 6 sizes depending on the print. So your print will be hand-signed and one of 6, 10 or 15 - I love to keep the number of my prints small.
Prices for any limited-edition print may increase as it reaches it printing limit. Open-edition prints don’t have a limit and are not numbered, but they are signed.
Do you offer Certificates of Authenticity?
Each print will come with written information about the print, your invoice will state if it’s a limited edition or not. If you wish to have one, then I can make one for you, though bear in mind that each artwork is hand-signed already in a way that is specific to me.
Do you sell custom-made prints (size, unpublished images, frame…)?
Yess!! that’s really what it’s all about for me. If you’d like a particular size that isn’t classic, then just feel free to contact me here . It may come at an extra cost, but anything is possible! Framing is quite personal and will increase shipping prices, but I work with the Atelier de Bedford, a French talented framer who hand makes everything and will gladly take care of your artwork should you wish it.
What type of paper do you use for the fine-art prints?
I love exploring different papers and textures to enhance my prints. It’s really a passion of mine, and finding durable, sustainable inks that pull the viewer in and bring the picture to life is my main query.
Prints are made with fine-art ink jet impressions, ranging from Hahnemuhle, Epson and Canson impressions - Pearl, Etching, Bamboo, Rag, Semi-Gloss depending on the photos. For instance, a photo of a forest, full of contrasts, textures, details, plays of light and depth will be beautiful with a Hahnemuhle Etching paper, as it truly gives a 3D impression. For a full detail of each paper, check out this description.
The Print Space - my beloved printers - are a carbon neutral company that offer incredibly professional services and strive to support global efforts against climate change and deforestation. They work with an organisation that prevents forests from being destroyed across the world. Read more about their efforts here.
Where do you ship?
Worldwide!
What is your return policy?
All prints are non refundable. However, if your print arrives damaged and you can show that it was damaged in transit (before arrival), I’ll gladly sort something out for you, like replacing the print (shipping at own costs).
